Kent State University awards over 1,600 degrees, with more than 260 accompanying institutional honors, and including 822 bachelor's degrees, 418 master's degrees, 71 doctoral degrees, 274 associate degrees and 24 educational specialist degrees.
More than 400 students participated in Trine Univesity's commencement ceremony on May 4 at Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium. It was the first time Trine conducted the ceremony outdoors since 1967.

Committed to academic excellence, Wittenberg University regularly recognizes students who maintain high educational standards. These students maintained a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the 2016 fall semester and earned a place on the Dean's List.
Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
Alma College has released the Dean's List for those students who achieved outstanding academic performance during the 2016 Fall Term. Students who achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the Dean's List.

Wittenberg University celebrated the achievements of students and faculty members at the annual Honors Convocation, Friday, April 11, in Weaver Chapel. 172 students were recognized for their induction into national honor societies.
The Richter Apprentice Scholar Program offers a unique research opportunity to a small group of outstanding students early in their college careers. During the summer between their first and second years, Richter Scholars are employed as apprentice scholars working one-on-one with faculty members conducting independent research. Women in Engineering is a highly competitive scholarship program in which high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors investigate careers in engineering and science. Students participate in engineering sessions, group projects, and special topic presentations. In addition, students have opportunities throughout the week to interact with industry role models and a diverse group of peers from around the nation and world. Lake Forest College welcomed 485 new and transfer students from 35 states and 40 countries this fall. The following students received scholarships to attend Lake Forest College:
